Appointment of Co-Leader of the DGSD 3 Working Group (D3I)

On Tuesday, September 17 the EFDI EU Management Executive Members (EUME) appointed Mr. Gábor Péter Nagy from the Deposit Guarantee Scheme of Hungary (NDIF), as the next Co-Leader of the DGSD 3 Working Group (D3I). This Working Group is focused on reviewing and analyzing from a practitioners point of view the technical issues of Directive 2014/49/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on deposit guarantee schemes (DGSD) and its future amendments under the scope of the EU Bank Crisis Management and Deposit Insurance Framework

Mr. Nagy is a legal professional with economic background with more than 15 years of experience in the international law firm industry (M&A, real estate, and tax), and more than 10 years of experience in deposit insurance and resolution financing area. He is currently Chief Advisor to the Managing Director of the NIDF and responsible for international affairs.

EUME Members would like to congratulate Mr. Nagy for this new position and wish him all the best in co-leading this important working group together with Mrs. Renata Kadlecova, Managing Director of Czech Republic’s Financial Market Guarantee System, and extend their gratitude to Mr. András Kómár, Managing Director of the NDIF, for the support and commitment towards EFDI. 

Finally, EUME Members would like to thank former co-leader of the D3I, Mrs. Christiana Argyridou, Acting Assistant Director from the Central Bank of Cyprus, for her invaluable commitment and contribution in co-leading this working group.
