EFDI and the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF) sign Memorandum of Understanding

The European Association of Deposit Guarantee Schemes and Investor Protection Schemes (EFDI)  is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF).

The MoU reinforces the strong relationship between EFDI and CIPF and represents an important milestone in EFDI´s international cooperation and reflects the shared commitment to promoting dialogue, knowledge sharing and the exchange of experiences and best practices across jurisdictions.

Through the Memorandum of Understanding, EFDI and CIPF will promote ongoing dialogue, knowledge sharing and the exchange of experiences and best practices in areas of common interest.

The partnership will also provide a valuable framework for closer cooperation on developments, challenges and emerging issues affecting investor protection. 

EFDI warmly welcomes this important step forward and looks forward to working closely with CIPF to advance their shared objectives and strengthen cooperation between investor protection communities internationally.
