Save the date for the upcoming 2025 EFDI AGM and DGS&ICS International Conferences in Madrid

2025 EFDI AGM and DGS & ICS International Conferences, Madrid (Spain)

We are very happy to announce that our next Annual General Assembly and International Conferences of Deposit Guarantee Schemes (DGS) and Investor Compensation Schemes (ICS) will be held in Madrid  and hosted by our esteemed colleagues from Fondo de Garantía de Depósitos España from 3 June to 6 June 2025.

The 4 day-event includes the ICS International Conference (Tuesday 3 June), EFDI Working Groups and Committees (4 June), the EFDI Annual General Assembly and EFDI DGS International Conference (5 and 6 June).

The International Conference on ICS will take place on the afternoon of 3 June, with the title “Investor Compensation Schemes Meet Innovation: How to Maintain Strong Investor Protection in a Changing Landscape?” will include thought-provoking discussions on issues of common interest to ICS, sharing of ICS practitioners’ experiences and recent regulatory developments.

The EFDI DGS International Conference with the theme “Embracing the Future on Solid Grounds: Reinforcing Financial Stability”, will serve as a platform to discuss key challenges in the European banking sector, the status and next steps of the crisis management reform (CMDI), the interplay between competitiveness and sustainability, and the impact of innovative technologies on the industry.

All these events will facilitate a professional exchange of ideas between practitioners and key stakeholders, while fostering an informal and engaging atmosphere between all participants.
